Congratulations to Jenny Samphire who won 2nd prize for her poster on 'Bio-Inspired Glycan-NanoProbes as Antimicrobial labels' at the joint Sustainable Chemistry and Chemical Synthesis CDT "Green Chemistry Futures" Symposium held in Nottingham on the 6th of February.
Well done to the GGCatalysis team who have just had their latest results on the use of Au(I) for the direct and alpha-stereoselective synthesis of glycosides accepted in The Journal of the American Chemical Society. 
Well done to Sarah who won one of the five poster prizes awarded at the European Colloid and Interface Society (ECIS) meeting where she presented her work on new chitosan-based microgels for internal wound healing therapies.  
Sadiyah Sheik has been awarded "best poster" at the RSC Nanoscience: A celebration which was held in Cardiff on the 23rd of May, where she presented her work on "Smart glyco-nanomaterials as novel anti-cancer drug delivery systems". Congratulations!
